Officials to help Stranded Air Australia Passengers in Bali

Australian consular officers are stationed at Denpasar International Airport in Bali to supply help to any Australians who are suffering from budget carrier Air Australia’s sudden collapse on Friday.

Two flights leaving Bali for Australia, with over one hundred passengers booked on every, were scheduled to depart tonight and tomorrow.

Australian embassy spokesman in Jakarta, Ray Marcelo, said consular officers can supply help like emergency loans and facilitate finding places for passengers to remain.

Air Australia’s collapse in February could also be serendipitous as a result of it's a quieter travel month for Australians to Bali, and different flights might have spare capability to accommodate stranded passengers, Marcelo said.

Air Australia suggested its passengers to search out different flights.

Marcelo said the embassy has not however received any requests for help, but it's ready for the chance some folks might not fathom Air Australia’s collapse and can arrive at the airport expecting to board a flight.

“We can got to wait and see,” he said.
